Manor Farm Country Park (Pylands Lane, Bursledon, Southampton) not only has animals and farm machinery, but it is also a museum. Kids can also take part in a Victorian school lesson…a bit different from today!
There are explanatory notes all over the place, as well as quiz and fact sheets and the whole place is fascinating. A close-up view of a long gone era. Great stuff.
